About Me
I am a Scientist dedicated to understanding the causes of breast cancer development and progression.
My current position is Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology & Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
I conducted my doctoral training in Cancer Biology at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, U.K. under the supervision of Professor Alan Ashworth, before completing a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Miami under the mentorship of Professor Marc Lippman.
My research focuses on identifying and characterizing genes that regulate breast cancer development and progression using innovative techniques. I hope that doing so will facilitate the translation of this knowledge into useful therapeutic strategies, reducing breast cancer morbidity and mortality.
